Join UW-Stevens Point Small Business Development Center experts as they team up with local business owners Sarah and Tom Zidek of Hooked and Tagged in Eagle River who share their knowledge and success with online sales. Learn how e-commerce and your digital footprint can grow your business by increasing awareness, selling merchandise online, and even increasing business through online gift certificates!

Speakers:

Patrick Gatterman

Patrick is the Director of the Small Business Development Center at UW-Stevens Point.  He is a community-minded entrepreneur who created his own outdoor recreational rental company.  His other experience includes eight years on the Adams County Chamber of Commerce board, six years leading the Central Wisconsin Home Builders Association and 11 years with the Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative.

Zia Yang

Zia is the Outreach Specialist for the Small Business Development Center at UW-Stevens Point.  Zia’s areas of expertise include event planning, desktop publishing, help desk support, website management, social media posts, marketing and process evaluation for efficiency.

Tom and Sarah Zidek - Hooked and Tagged

Tom and Sarah Zidek own the retail stores Hooked and Tagged and Northern Joy in Eagle River.  They are expanding to Minocqua.  Hear their inspiring story, and how E-commerce is helping to drive their businesses and business expansion.
