Dave Juday

Ideal Industries and Former Vice Chairman of the VCEDC Board

Dave spent most of his professional life at IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC, a company started by his grandfather, retiring after 42 years of service. His last thirty were as Chairman. During his tenure, the company grew substantially in volume as well as market reach, expanding beyond the traditional electrical market served by wholesale distributors into data communication tools and supplies, data test and measurement, environmental testing and monitoring, and automotive aftermarket tools.

Outside of IDEAL, Dave has served on several boards including a community bank, several other manufacturers, and an ag retailer, as well as the Illinois State Board of Ed, the local school board, local economic development groups, and his local church.

Since retiring in 2014, Dave has devoted more time to several startup companies in Wisconsin where he owns several commercial buildings, project work for IDEAL and the family, and woodworking.
