Town of Boulder Junction Celebrates High-Speed Broadband

The Vilas County Economic Development Corporation extends its congratulations to the Town of Boulder Junction celebrating the completion of construction of high-speed broadband throughout the town!  This represents 50 miles of fiber to 1,000 homes and businesses!  

Congratulations also to the great work from the Internet Service Provider Brightspeed, and the Wisconsin Public Service Commission (PSC). Officials from Boulder Junction, Brightspeed, and the PSC gathered on July 28, 2023 for an official 'ribbon-cutting' ceremony.  

There are currently $71MM in funded broadband projects underway, or planned, that are bringing fiber broadband to approximately 13K homes and businesses throughout Vilas County communities! Such exciting news!
