Announcing New Business of the Month Spotlight

As part of our mission to support area businesses we are pleased to launch a new feature recognizing a Business of the Month. The Businesses of the Month will be featured on our website, social media, e-newsletter, and be entered into a nomination for a Business of the Year at the Vilas County Economic Development Corporation Annual Meeting in December.

We welcome your nominations! Please nominate a business who you feel meets the following criteria.

1)     The business has been in business a minimum of two years.

2)     The business is physically located in Vilas County.

3)     The business owner fosters a culture/mission to give back to the community.

SELF NOMINATIONS ARE ENCOURAGED * Nominations must be received by 5:00 PM on the 10th day of each month to be considered for the following month * Eligible nominees will be presented to VCEDC Executive Committee for a vote, based on information provided, to determine the Business of the Month winner. * An eligible nominee that is not chosen as the winner will have its nomination roll over for an additional three months. If still not selected, the business may be nominated again. * Each year, the twelve (12) Business of the Month award winners will be named finalists for the Vilas County Economic Developments Business of the Year Award.
